In 2017-2018, it was decided by the Senate that 80 students with 40% scholarship and 24 students with 25% scholarship, 8 paid and 8 full scholarship students would be accepted. Double major and minor programs are offered for students with sufficient success. There is 1 programming and software development laboratory dedicated to Computer Engineering (CENG Lab.). This training laboratory consisting of 60 laptops and presentation systems is used for basic education. A CAD / CAM Laboratory was planned and installed to include 60 HP workstations for technical drawing courses. In addition, a high-performance computer with 64 processors and 256GB of memory is used for research purposes and goals. The current academic staff of the department consists of 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor and 6 Dr. Lecturers and 4 Research Assistants. As a need; new faculty members need to be recruited according to expanding/increasing student quotas. Two part-time faculty members have been recently assigned.
